College of Engineering Policy on Transfer Credits to Meet Core Requirements

This policy is designed for current NMSU College of Engineering Students wishing to take core courses from other institutions to fulfill NMSU College of Engineering Core Requirements. See the full policy on the COE’s website here.

Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Calculator Policy

Faculty members in the Klipsch School may choose one of the following two calculator-use policies for in-class exams and quizzes administered in their core ECE classes:

• All electronic computing devices are banned

or

• Students may use one of the approved calculators on the list provided by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying which is available at http://ncees.org/exams/calculator-policy/

*The faculty member’s choice shall be communicated as part of the syllabus and in other appropriate ways for the class.
